My proper name is Danek S. Kaus, but I go by Dan.
Danek is pronounced DONek. It’s Polish for Daniel.
Kaus is pronounced Cause.
I am an author, journalist, publicist, copywriter and businessman. Here is some information about my experience.
Author
My new book is “You Can Be Famous: Insider Secrets to Getting Free Publicity.” It is currently in pre-release. You can get it from me or the publisher. It will be officially released to bookstores and Amazon, etc., on January 8, 2009. It has some great endorsements from a number of business authors, including marketing guru Joe Vitale, one of the stars of the movie, “The Secret.”

Journalist
I have worked as an editor, reporter and freelance journalist. As a freelancer, I have published hundreds of articles in about 75 newspapers and magazines and dozens of business and personal development websites.
Some of the subjects I have written about are business, high tech, health, personal development, crime and government.
Publicist
My clients have been covered in such major media as USA Today, The New York Times and CNN, to name a few, as well as hundreds of TV and radio shows, newspapers, magazines and websites.
Copywriter
A copywriter is someone who writes advertising and other marketing material, including websites. I have experience in all these areas.
Businessman
I operated a personal services business for about eight years. In addition, I have worked in sales, both in B2C (to consumers) and B2B (to businesses).
